We had a three-tiered, cascading roses wedding cake for our wedding reception. Cheryl was friendly, helpful and welcoming at our initial meeting where we discussed what we wanted. She made different flavoured cupcakes for us to sample, which helped us to decide. We had three different flavours of cake; salted caramel, raspberry and vanilla. Cheryl delivered and set up the cake at our venue. It looked amazing, matched our colour scheme perfectly and tasted delicious. There was none left at the end of the night - it went down a treat - and lots of our guests commented positively on how it looked and tasted! Thank you Cheryl!
I had my wedding cake made from sweet sensations and it was just perfect, visually and it tasted fab! The price was very reasonable too for a wedding cake. The service was great from choosing the design to deciding what flavours to have, Cheryl catered for all needs and i had it delivered to my venue promptly and was kept up to date with everything. Cheryl has made cakes for both my daughters for last 8 years, every single cake she does is amazing , the cake is absolutely gorgeous its shame to cut into them! Cheryl has made cakes at last minute for us, and every cake is so much better than what we asked for she always does that bit extra! I would highly recommend sweet sensations to anyone wanting a special cake for special occasion !
Cheryl created the perfect wedding cake for us - we gave her some of the fabric from our bridal colour theme and she was able to match the colours perfectly to our scheme and it was more beautifully made than I thought possible! When we first met Cheryl we werent sure what we wanted in terms of design, but Cheryl really did put in so much hard work to understand what we liked and to create something that was perfect, and it really really was. We had 3 tiers (each a different flavour) with fondant flowers and a lace pattern in the icing. It was beautiful. The cake was delicious and here was plenty for our 160+ guests, plus leftovers. We had to travel from Wakefield to York with the cake but it was well protected and survived the journey. I would happily buy more cakes from Cheryl and would recommend her to anyone!
Cheryl's service was so so lovely! After meeting with her during our consultation she couldn't be any more welcoming and friendly. Great customer service. She had prepared a couple of sample flavours/cupcakes to try and take home with us for the family. The cake on the day looked so beautiful! Unfortunately I didn't actually get to eat from the cake on the day, but I was pleased with how the taste test went!
